Kaju Katli Cake Recipe


For the Sponge

  • 1/2 tinNestle MILKMAID
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose Flour
  • One tsp baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup vegetable Oil
  • 1/3 cup cashew Powder
  • One tsp vanilla Essence
  • 1/2 cup milk

For the Frosting:

  • One cup of whipping Cream

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup white Chocolate
  • Two tbsp vegetable Oil

For the Garnish:

  • 6Chopped cashews
  • 4-5Saffron Strands


  • Step 1: To make the sponge combine baking powder, flour, cashew, and baking soda in the bowl. Keep aside. Mix together oil, Nestle MILKMAID, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until it turns light and fluffy.
  • Step 2: Gradually mix the dry ingredients and milk and make the batter.
  • Step 3: Move the cake batter into an unlined cake pan of 7 inches and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30 to 35 mins or so until the skewer poked into the cake pan comes out clear.
  • Step 4: When the cake has been baked correctly, Let it cool. Then, remove the mold.
  • Step 5: To make the frosting beat the cream until you get stiff high peaks. To make the glaze cut the chocolate into pieces. It is then microwaved along with oil until it melts.
  • Step 6: To construct the cake, Apply an even layer of frosting made from whipped cream. The cake will then be kept in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Pour over the White Chocolate Glaze. Refrigerate again. Cut into slices and decorate with chopped cashews and Saffron hairs. Enjoy!
