Chocolate Cake Recipe


  • 1/4 tinNestle MILKMAID
  • 1/4 cupNestle a+ Toned milk
  • 150 gButter
  • 150 gPowdered Sugar
  • 3Eggs
  • 125 gMaida ( Flour)
  • 3-4 tbsp (25 g)Cocoa Powder
  • 1.5 tspBaking Powder
  • 1 tspVanilla Essence
  • 4 tbspCocoa Powder
  • 50 gButter


  •  Step 1. Set the oven temperature to 180° C. Cleanly oil an 8 inch baking pan and dust it with flour.
  • Step 2. Mix the cocoa powder, maida, and baking powder. Keep aside.
  •  Step 3. Make butter soft in bowl. Add powdered sugar, and mix until it becomes creamy. Add Vanilla essence and mix. Slowly beat the eggs one at a and then fold in the sieved mix of maida and mix thoroughly. Add milk and mix until you achieve a drop-like consistency.
  • Step 4. Place the batter into a baking tin and bake it in the preheated oven for to 45 minutes or until a toothpicks inserted in the middle of the cake is clear.
  • Step 5. Remove the oven and allow to and let it cool for a bit. Place on an oven rack or a plate.
  • Step 6. For Fudge Icing Mix with Nestle MILKMAID Cocoa powder, MILKMAID butter. Mix well. For 20 second, microwave and then mix thoroughly.
  • Step 7. Spread the frosting over the cake once it has been cooled, and let it be set. Cut and enjoy.

Tips to Make Chocolate Cake

  • Don’t overbeat your batter, as it could result in a hard cake.
  • To prevent overcooking, make sure you ensure that your cake is checked after 25 minutes after baking.
  • Be sure that the cake is completely cool prior to decorating it, or else you’ll end up with melting frosting.
